Retainers omg i am going crazy=p?!

I had braces many years ago and I had to wear retainers for like two years!.!.!.I'm not sure what kind of information you're looking for exactly but I'll try my best to explain!. They don't hurt or anything they just keep your teeth in places while your braces are off!. As for colors your orthodontist will let you pick, or at least mine did!. They put your last name in it in case you lose it and give you a case for it!. As for cleaning I usually just brushed it with my toothbrush and toothpaste!.


How should I take care of my retainer!?
Most retainers are removable, meaning that you take them out when eating, brushing and flossing!. For this reason, they are easy to misplace!. Many people wrap their retainers in a napkin when eating, then forget about them afterwards and have to spend hundreds of dollars on a new retainer!. A good solution is to always carry your retainer case with you and to use it whenever you're not wearing your retainer!. For added protection, never leave the case on a table or a bench
