Answers:
Don't lay down, sleep sitting in bed with a lot of pillows under your back and head!.

Since it's day 2, you need something *warm* wrapped around your jaw (it takes the pain away)!.

Finally, you can take up to 800 mg Ibuprofen x 3 times a day!.

If you are on Vicodin you might be insomniac because of it (that's what happened to me)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ah you poor thing that must hurt loads!

Are you taking a form of paracetamol!? Try 2 nurofen before you go to bed, with a glass of milk!. After that (and brushing your teeth) rinse your mouth out with Cepacaine which will numb your mouth and disinfect it!. Also try holding ice to your jaw to ease the ache!.

See your dentist/ortho if the pain doesn't go away!.

Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Try and sit up slightly in bed -helps relieve the pressure!. The doctor should have prescribed ibuprofen to help with the swelling and maybe something with codeine it to help with pain (and can make you sleepy) if he/she didn't get someone to pick something up from the chemist for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

oooooooooo!!! is the codine or w/e other drugs not helping!?!? i know codine PUTS ME OUT!!! if i were u id try numbing it maybe with ice!.!.!. or if u are feeling adventurous sum ambisol!.

Good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well if they gave you T3 (tylenol 3) you may have overdosed if you suffer from insomnia!.

Try taking advil to reduce swelling (which is causing you the pressure) and tylenol for any headaches you are having!. Also, ICE YOUR JAW!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Whats your age!? Age matters!. If it is between 18 to 25 its ok it will come out soon!. If over 25 contact dentist you need medical attention!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
