Can you still get teeth cleaned when you have a possible abcess?!

i have an appointment to get my teeth cleaned for the first time in years!. i had my widom teeth extracted a few years ago as well and i have a white lump back there on the gums!. i assume its an abcess and its somewhat painful!. i have had headaches everyday for a while now and it hurts to chew on that side!. im also breastfeeding a almost 8 month old!. im concered!. the abcess or whatever is my main reason for setting up the appointment!. but she set me up to have my teeth cleaned!. will they be able to clean them with the abcess!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
