Question: PLEASE HELP ME,BRACES(EXPERIENCE)help help!?
anyone with experience or has had this problem!.
im trying to get braces but my mom does not make enough money to buy them for me,so she got on some stuff were u dont have to pay any money if i really need braces,i think its called medicare,its for poor people,anyway so i went to the dentist and they said that i would need them,but they had to send to the state to make sure they approved,well i got the letter and it said i did not aprove for braces,but i really do need them,ihave a 10% over bite,crowding,and they look just horrible,i really want braces,but the letter said if u do not agree with this,than send us back a letter with why u dont agree,and we will remake r decision,

Having braces will boost my self-confidence because i know that when they come off I will have a beautiful smile!. They will make me feel better about myself and my self-image which is becoming so important these days!. Also (if you have an issue wit hthis) it will help my speech and the way I talk!. Finally, having and overbite and corwding could possibly have long term effects on my jaw and I think it would be best to have braces to make sure this never happens!.

Hi, o have braces right now and they suck!. but if you really want them i think u should try to find a job!. Depending on where u live kids ages of 14 have trouble with finding them!. if you live near a corn feild then try corn de tassleing!. ull get paid 2000 if u work all summer!. then ur half way there!. if your mom can afford 2000 then u can get them if not, try selling some stuff you dont use anymore!. And as for your letter there isnt really anything u can do!. just tell them the goverment ( or who ever they are) that they want to stop bullying in (whereever you live) and then tell them your getting bullied by people at school!. if they give you braces then the school cant bully u anymore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
There are actually some different options available!.!.!.there are some really cheap discount plans that reduce the cost of braces tremendously!.!.!.!.such as dorsey discount services!.!.!.!.then, there are cheap dental insurance places!.!.!.!.!.some of them are as low as $14 a month!.!.!.!.only problem is that u usually have to go to a dentist on their list!.!.!.!.!.then!.!.!.!.also, almost all orthodontists let you make payment plans, most of them also have companies you can go through to get credit for them!.!.!.!.now!.!.!.!.one reason that you NEED to get braces is to attempt to prevent TMJ!.!.!.!.!.!.i went through braces at a later age!.!.!.!.!.and TMJ had already developed!.!.!.!.!.your jaws pop a lot!.!.!.!.not sucha swell thing!.!.!.!.!.anyway!.!.!.!.i HOPE you get them, you'll be happy you did when your pretty straight teeth get through with braces!. Bear in mind though, at times the braces will make your mouth sore from moving the teeth to the right spots!.!.!.!.!.ibuprofen works pretty well:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had braces for about 2 yrs back when I first had all of my adult teeth!. I had an overbite, buck teeth, and could not pronounce the "s" in words!.
A good reason for braces is that it helps with your chewing food properly!. If you chew correctly, then your food is "ready" for your stomach!.
Another good reason, is it helps with being able to speak language well!. My "s" was slurred or just not clear!. For some stupid reason, the state put me thru "speech therapy" of playing games and such to speak with S properly!. That could have been avoided by merely waiting for the braces!. Waste of taxpayer dollars, I say!.
The buck teeth I had was something of an eyesore!. I am very thankful to not have that staring at me in the mirror every morning!. But, my kids would most likely inherit that trait (if I ever have any)!.
I was told that I'd be wearing braces - along with the headgear to assist with the overbite - for approximately 2-2!.5 yrs!. Because I was very serious about my braces, and I did everything the Orthodonics doctor told me - wearing my headgear x-amount of hours per day, brushing 3x per day, avoiding carrots, potatoe chips and such foods that get stuck in the braces!.!.!.I was able to have my braces off a little before 2 yrs were up!. He left me with a retainer (removable) on the top, and a cemented in one for the lower!.
One day, when I was 19, I got to thinking about how I was STILL wearing the top & lower retainers!. I was very careful about the rubberbands used for the top retainer, so I still had a few (believe it or not!)!. I decided to drop by the old doc's office and inquire about my retainers!. You should have seen the reaction in the office! The nurse and office staff were laughing and rolling on the floor!. They "forgot" to tell me to stop with the top retainer, and took me to the chair to remove the bottom one!. I guess I was a good patient!
On to now, I would suggest that you contact a few orthodonic offices and see if any would be willing to set up a payment plan for you!. That is what I did with mine back in the 1970's!. That was before credit, but if they are good people, they will work with you, irregardless of insurance!. If you can prove to them that you WILL pay their bill in full, and pay monthly, then I'm sure that you will get those braces!.
Go ahead and give it a try!. It's worth it, don't you think!?
