How much does a dental implant cost in the US (ballpark)?!

Question: How much does a dental implant cost in the US (ballpark)!?
My dentist tells me $4500 (from start to finish)!. This involves removing the current tooth, doing a fill and waiting for the bone to grow, and then follow it up with an implant and a crown!. Is this cost fair!?

The cheaper option he gave me was to do a bridge!. Is that an OK option!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes that sounds about right!. I just had one done!. It's a pretty long and expensive process!. Most dental insurances do not cover the cost of the implant which is a good $2,000 plus!. Then the crown will cost around $700 (if you have insurance)!. I forget what the tooth removal cost me!. I didn't want a bridge because I don't think they look good!. It can also mess up the teeth on either side of it!. I have good teeth so I wanted to keep them looking that way!.!.!.!.!.therefore I chose the implant!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as dental and eye surgery is not covered by insurance!. They also have photos pasted of their International patients!. You can checkout their website!. There are huge cost savings!. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world!. Yea that's a fair cost!.!. A bridge is just fine also, the downfall is that it's going to take away healthy tooth structure from the other 2 teeth beside it!. And flossing can be a pain too!.!. But it's cheaper and works just as well!.!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

a bridge is a better and cheaper option!.!.!.!.!.as long as you are not in danger of losing teeth on either side of the now offending toothWww@Answer-Health@Com
