Question: Still in pain after wisdom tooth removed after a week!?
I had my bottom right wisdom tooth removed last Thursday and im am still in a bit of pain!. Its like a dull pain when you got tooth ack and ive always got this foul taste in my mouth!. The only thing that eases the pain is ibuprofen!. This only lasted 3 days with my other wisdom tooth!. Is this the sign of a dry socket!? Should i got to the dentist but i dont want to waste there time or see how it goes over the next few days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I strongly feel that at present there is no need to visit a dentist!. Please note that this dull pain is not a sign of dry socket!.!.!.!.!.that is something very disturbing and the pain generally in dry socket is so shooting that instead of coming to yahoo, you would have by this time visited your dentist!.
It is okay to take Ibuprofen 400mg two or three times a day!.!.!.!.!.as per your need!.!.!.!.I am of the opinion that you would require these just for the next 2-3 days only!. Just see if you can avoid even this tablet or just see if the dull pain is under check with just one tablet a day!.!.!.!.well, that is your individual need!. Please do a lot of warm saline gargles!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.the use of these is very soothing!. If, inspite of warm gargles, you feel there is need for some antiseptic mouthrinse!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.you can safely use Betadine gargle!.
Your apprehension that when you had got your other wisdom tooth removed , the pain just lasted 3 days!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.please remember that there are individual tooth variations!. So, that's not important!.

I was in pain for over 2 weeks!. I was taking hydrocodone and massive amounts of advil just to be able to eat yogurt and pudding!. The tops didn't hurt at all, it's the bottom ones that gave me trouble!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yeah definitely talk to your oral surgen about this!. i remember mine sorta!. i dont think i was in much pain and it was pretty easy breezy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
