Your condition is called mandibular prognathism!. From what I see on the picture it takes the joint effort of an orthodontist and an oral/maxillofacial surgeon!. The orthodontist would shape both jaws by means of brackets and arches (train tracks) in such a way that they fit together on a dental cast!. Then, the surgeon moves both jaws into the anatomically correct position!. During surgery the train tracks often remain on the teeth!. Together with surgical screws and bolts they serve to fixate the jaws in the desired position!. Surgery takes up to 3 hours!. Depending on your physical shape, recovery takes about a week!. To fine-tune the result of surgery the train tracks are left for several month in their place!. It sounds tough and takes time!. You have an underbite!. Depending on how far in front your lower teeth are, you might be able to get it fixed with braces, but if your lower teeth are a long way in front, the only option would be jaw surgery!.
