I had a retainer that looked like a slice of watermelon, ask if they can do that! For the most part you can just brush the retainer with your toothbrush while you're brushing your teeth!. I swish my mouth with a mouthwash of half hydrogen peroxide & half water - as I had one retainer fall to pieces when I used denture tablets to clean it!
If your retainer is really dirty: remove it in the morning!. If you wear your retainer at night, take it off in the morning!. Rinse it with just water!. Put it into a cup or mug filled with just enough mouthwash to cover it!. If you wear your retainer all the time, take a few hours off to clean it!. Leave the retainer in the mouthwash all day!. If you have to wear yours constantly, scrub it well then soak it for a few hours only!.
There's a website that specializes in stuff for braces and retainers called Dentakit!.com!. They sell two types of retainer cleaners!. They sell Retainer Brite and also Sonic Brite!. Both of these products are designed to clean retainers!. I bought both to compare them!. They both work really good!. The Sonic Brite got rid of the disgusting white stuff!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well there are multiple ways you can do it!. One of them (the easy*est) is to take a little bit of toothpaste, and brush it lol!. Amother way is to get those dissolveable denture cleaners, and let them soak in a bowl for a few hours, or overnight!. Or, you can scald them in hot water, they aer all just as effective, but brushing them is the fastest and easy*est!.

I'm not sure what works the best, but I am trying denture cleaner right now!. It doesn't seem to work that badly!. It works pretty nice!. I was told by my orthodontist though that there is retainer cleaner out there!. I have not found retainer cleaner yet, so that's why I've been using denture cleaner!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's been a long time since I had a retainer and I am not sure if they still recommend it but I used to pour a little mouthwash in a cup, dip my toothbrush into the mouthwash and clean the retainer with the toothbrush!. Afterwards, you can rinse it off with water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well, I have a retainer & i am very cheap so i use baking soda and toothpaste!. And itz really dirty i will leave it n a bowl of baking soda , water & mouthwash !.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Denture tablets and go for something bright incase you drop it then you can find it easier the clear is a ***** to find if you drop it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
