I had a retainer, and color doesn't matter at all!. No one sees it but you, (unless you show people)!. Try this!. Take a salt water taffy and squish it so its flat!. Put it on the roof of your mouth!. I know that sounds weird, but it really does feel like a retainer!. As for the taste!. Brush your retainer morning and night just like you would brush your teeth!. If you don't!. You'll start getting the taste of morning breathe, or even the day's food!. Listen to your orthodontist!. If he says where your retainer for this many months, DO IT OR YOUR TEETH WILL MOVE BACK INTO ITS NORMAL PLACE!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I got my retainers about a week ago and they were very uncomfortable!. I have a removable retainer on the top teeth and a permanent retainer at the back of my lower front teeth!.
The first 2 days i had speech problems!. But now its getting better because I'm getting used to it!.
I rinse my retainer and put it in the box when I eat, then when I put it back in, It tastes a little weird but only at the beginning!.
I didn't get a chance to choose color and I rather wouldnt want to but you could choose any kind of color you prefer!. I have a clear light pink with looks nice although that's the original look of the removable retainer!.

they may feel a little weird at first but you get use to it!. i think it makes the roof of you mouth feel smooth!. At first it might taste funny but it wears off after a couple hours!. usually after 6 months of wearing them full time you can go to nights!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well other people shouldn't really see the color so just go with one you like!. as long as you wash the retainer it should taste fine maybe like soap or something!. i don't have a retainer but something like it and its not bad you get used to it after awhile!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
