Honestly, there is a very scientific answer to your question!.!.!.it is the body's natural reaction to anything being in your mouth!. Anything you place in your mouth sets off "receptors" by your brain, preparing to digest food!. The brain doesn't realize it's not food yet!. But give yourself a little time for the receptors to adapt and all the drooling will stop!.
On top of everything else, your lips probably don't come together like they used to, and you have a bunch of stuff in your mouth getting in the way!. It's just hard to swallow all the excess saliva!.
Most of all, don't worry!. This is perfectly normal and it won't take long to stop!. Braces are no fun, but you will be really glad in the long run that you got them!!

I have brace too!. i got mine sin september!. your drooling cuz your mouth is always open and because you have all that metal in your mouth its prolly hard to close it!. But drooling isnt the only problem your going to have your lips are going to always be dry!. I hate that part!. But drooling!. dry lips, sorness, wires poking you in the mouth are all concequences you have to go through but youll be happy wen you see tha results in a couple of years!!!<3Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your body views the braces as a foreign object thats not suppose to be in there, and it creates that drool hoping to neutralize it!.!.!. but it doesn't work xD
I was told that after I got my braces out the drooling would stop but!.!.!. it took it quite awhile =X I still drool more then I did before the braces!.!.!. guess it depends on the person!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well Right Now I Have Braces And It's Because The Braces Are Big And They Make You Keep Your Mouth Open A Lot, Which Means When You Generate Saliva There's An Opening For The Saliva To Exit!. But That's Just My Opinion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
