Well they are going to hurt for the first week or so!.!.

and i thought when i got them on is that cold foods are better like icecream and stuff but then when my friend got them on she said she liked warmer foods like soups !.!. so try each and see which one you like better that way you'll have something to eat for the next 5, 6, or 7 days!.!.

And BREAD is something that really gets stuck in them!.!. and avoid like red koolaid or doritoes because it discolors your glue on your braces making it look like you have yellow teeth!.

Also!.!. it's hard to eat like spagetti because the noodles will somehow find their way to stick and wind themselves up in my braces!.!. it may sound weird but it's true!.!. lol!.!.

AVOID pizza for awhile because my friend had his on for 3 days and ate some pizza and a bracket broke!.!. and even after all the pain and you start eating pizza again make sure you don't eat the crust because 2 of my brackets broke cause of that!.!.

Umm also no corn on the cob because omg corn gets stuck so easily!.!.

Yeah well hopefully all this helps!.!. good luck with the pain!.!.
lol!.!. make sure you take some tylenol to relieve yourself!.!.

i get mine off in 2 weeks!. i'm so excited!.

(: hope all this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had no troubles with eating when i got my braces on but i just ignored them lol :> ummm some good foods to eat (my sister had these cos i could eat normal :>) jelly, baby food, pureed fruit, rice, mash potato, ice cream, smoothies, protien shakes, yogurt etc (she didnt have soup cos she had clear braces :> but thats a good one)

when you start to get abit more comfortable with eating you need to start eating things chopped up small to start chewing then you will need to start biting into things again i started with stuff like bread, cake soft things that crumble easy :>

good luck tho :>Www@Answer-Health@Com

I got my braces around January,& I've been there!.
the things I ate were blackberries,-there soft & easy to chew!.
pudding,jello,a salad-if you chew slowly!.
I wouldnt recommend pickles,chips,strawberries,apples,etc,
it kinda makes it hurt worse!.
& when you get food stuck in your teeth-just go floss
You should be fine in about a week!.
just wait til you get a chain!.!lol!.
hope this helps hun!. :]
