Pain on my tooth?!

Question: Pain on my tooth!?
I had this really bad habit of biting down on my cavity filling for the last two weeks to see if it breaks and it became such a depressing habit!. Then the last three days I have had pain there on the filling I was biting on and I was wondering if the pain will go away on its own or maybe that's an indication that I need a new filling or an infection!? I just bit down the bottom cavity flling with the upper tooth and it was a sharp one but I've been having constant pain for the the last 3 days!. Help! Someone tell me what's going on!. I know the dentist is the best person but can't go till next week since office is closed so if someone knows anything please tell me! I'm wondering if the pain will go away by itself!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes teeth can form hairline cracks!.

If those cracks sustain huge pressure ie!. the force of the jaw, then unfortunately you're going to make it alot worse by habitually doing it and they are going to cause you pain!.

You could have just made the crack worse, sometimes a crack can only be seen once the filling is removed and you can see the floor of the cavity!.

I would say, see your dentist and see what he recommends for your tooth!.

Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Um!? I think you have been succesful in breaking something!. But, I think you have cracked the tooth or teeth!. It depends on what you were trying to bite down on!? This doesn't sound to good I know, but, you probably did crack something!. That is going to be $$$ to fix!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
