Pro's and cons of veneers?!
Question: Pro's and cons of veneers!?
Ok I am 17 but have really bad teeth, in they are decayed had over 12 cavaties, 1 route canal, one pulled and another that need to be pulled cause it broke in half cause it was so decayed!. Also they are uneven have gaps and are buck!.
I want veneers and I want to know the good things about them!.
But also the downside for them!. Like are they bad for your teeth!?
Or should I just get braces or invislaign!. PLEASE I need help I just want to fix my teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Veneers are a quick fix!.
Your'e teeth will look great right after putting them on!.
Con's
You'll be introducing a whole new problem to all the dental problems you already have!. Veneers are not for really bad teeth!. Nor are they for the teeth that have been heavily restored!. The bond simply is not that good!. They'll fall off!.
They'll have to be redone!. !. !. Veneers worke best on teeth that have minor discrepencies in alignment and maybe a little stained or slightly decalcified!. They do work on more severe cases, but they usally fail quickly in dental terms (within the first 3 years)!. The happiest veneer patient I have ever had never has had a failure in 9 years and only wanted to lighten up perfectly healthy yellow teeth with very little misalignment!.
I hope someday a producer or investigative journalist would to a three year follow up on some of these dirt poor people you see on "the Swan" to see what if any problems they've had with all these made over teeth!. Dollars to Donuts most of them have had high failures leaving the poor bastards unable to pay for the repairs!.
A better way to go is address the alignment problem with an orthodontist!. keep good hygiene!. After having your teeth aligned you may feel better about your teeth in general!. then if after youv'e done that you still don't like your appearance try restoring a few teeth that bother you the most!. go slow, keep the crown symetricall repair them in pairs so they look the same on both sides!. and then see if you are happy!. If your lucky you will find happyness outside of your mouth by then!.
