Little white triangles on teeth?!

Question: Little white triangles on teeth!?
Since I can remember, I have had little white triangle-shaped bits on my two front teeth!.
I don't know what they are,
my mum said it was either antibiotics, or when I fell over when I was really young!. Sometimes, they are vivid, and sometimes, I cant see them unless I really try!.
Does anyone know what they could be!? any help would be apreciated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The big clue in what you said is that sometime I can't see them unless I try!. Iw ould suspect this is demineralization as mentioned above!. when you have your mouth open enough the demineralized spot dries out making them change in appearance then they get wet and dissappear or appear one or the other!. I won't try to guess which!.

Since they disappear and reappear I'm also going to take a second educated guess that they are very close to the surface of the enamel and can be easy removed, then filled in with a small amount of composite filling!. I've done this several times for patients, mostly those with braces removed!.

Good luck
just remember before you take em out!. You may miss them!. They are part of what makes you, you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's probably due to antibiotics - they can cause the demineralisation or discolouration of teeth!. I think the type is tricyclides, they can also rot your teeth!. If they're not sensitive, don't worry!. They're really common actually, but if you're worried, just ask the dentist to see if all is ok!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have them too!. I don't know what it is exactly, possibly something about calcium, but i know if you try to whiten your teeth it will only make the spots brighter and the rest will stay the same!. It's nothing unnaturally horibble or anything!. :]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Me too! I had scarlet fever when I was 6!. I had big doses of antibiotics at a time when I didn't have my adult teeth!. My dentist said that it's a pretty common side effect during young years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
