Question: How come wisdom teeth have to be pulled!?
Why does everyone's teeth have to be pulled!? When they grew in, before we had dentists, they just stayed there!.!.!.so why can't we just keep them in!? What will happen if they are left in!?

I'm 16, never had a cavity or a tooth pulled!. No braces, nothing bad has ever happened to my teeth, and I want to keep it that way, I don't want to have my wisdom teeth pulled out in a few years!. I think one may have come in already but I'm not sure!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They dont have to be pulled, they might just start bothering you later in life!. Mine grew in crooked so they hurt like hell!. I decided to get rid of them!. They don't have to come out, unless they are causing you problems!.

I've had one wisdom tooth pulled out, one has never broken through the gum and is just minding its own business, and the other two are quite happily sitting up at the back of my jaw (though slightly crooked) but not causing any problems at all!.

The one which was pulled had only partially come up, and was stuck under the tooth in front!. This caused periodic infections which had to be treated with antibiotics until I finally said to the dentist "right, let's get rid of it"!.

Wisdom teeth are a relic of the distant past and human jaws have evolved over thousands of years and changes in diet to be smaller, so sometimes there just isn't enough room for them!. This is when they cause trouble!.

There is no medical evidence that "preventative removal" makes any significant difference to your health!. So if they don't cause you trouble, just leave them be!Www@Answer-Health@Com

often, there is just not enough space in the mouth to keep the wizzy teeth!.

if they are not causing problems, then they dont need removing!.

my bottom ones grew forwards into my molars!. i had one molar out, not the wiz!. i am waiting for the othe side to decide about taking one out there for space!.

the top ones grew out, ito the side of my cheeks!. but they are ok at the moment!.

if they are not a problem, no dentist will put you through major surgrery to remove them!. they are not easy to take out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just keep the teeth & see if they start hurting you or not!. Some peop;e have to get them pulled because they are hurting & get infected!. Everybody is different though!. At the price of going to the dentist & getting the procedure done,I would certainly wait & see what happens first!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have had mine done!.!.!. all four, plus one right nextd to them aswell!.!.!. basically they are removed (in my case)!. because they are slowly pushing the other teeth closer and closer together!.!. forming the teeth to point where there was little to no gap between my teeth, causing alot of pain!. and slowly reforming the shape of my gums!.!.!.!.!. yeah painful!.!.!.!.!. they are good things after a few months, about getting the wisdom teeth pulled!. probably no help to u!. but well that is what happend to meWww@Answer-Health@Com

They often become impactedWww@Answer-Health@Com

hey there, im 20 but i dont have my pulled out yet! anyway i know they take them out so they dont cause further cavities since wisdom teeth is located in the very back so its hard to clean!.!.!.!.!.!.!.i might remove my later on!.!.!.!.goodluck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not everyone has to have their wisdom teeth pulled out!. If your wisdom teeth do not cause any harm to your teeth then everything will be fine!. Usually wisdom teeth are removed when they are impacted - turned on their side for example or they are influencing the other teeth by causing them to beome misaligned!.

Wisdom teeth are our 3rd Set of molars!. In early years such as cave men, we would lose our teeth through fighting etc so we have evolved to replace the missing teeth!

Two things could happen if they were left there:
1- Nothing ! everything is ok - sufficient room
2 - cause problems to the other teeth!Www@Answer-Health@Com
