Question: Help please!!Alot of pain and swelling! tooth extraction problems!!?
okay i got 4 of me wisdom teeth extracted yesterday and since then i been in alot of pain(i was given pain killers and anti-biotics, which i'm taking) but still my cheeks have swelled up 4 times their size and i cant open my mouth, the swelling keeps getting worse, i've been putting ice but it only gets worse, should i go into the the emergency room!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hello, OK, if you have explained exactly what is happening with your face and cheeks and the extractions was yesterday, you need to place a call first to your dentist!.!.!.You should not be experiencing the degree of swelling you have described!. no you are fine!. i had my wisdom teeth removed too and the oral surgeon told me that the swelling is the worst the third day after the surgery!. so your swelling is normal and not being able to open you mouth is normal too!. the way mine was removed was they had to cut in the gums and i was completely out so if you just had it done like a normal extraction then you may want to see whats up!. good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
