hello!. i had to have braces for a year and a half anf i had an overbite lik you do!. i never thought i would need them because i had a great smile even though i had the overbite!. but then the overbite ended up putting a gap in my front teeth and i had to get braces or it would of gotten alot worse!. so to be honest with you, you ae probally gonna have toget braces and you will probally have them for a year and a half or two years!. its better to get it fixed now!. hope i could help [:Www@Answer-Health@Com
You will probably need braces with a bite turbo (little metal pieces that go behind your two front teeth)!. They prevent you from biting the way you normally would!. I have the same problem and just got the braces/ bite turbo combo!. By the way, the bite turbo will annoy you very much because you can't bite all the way down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
