Question: My tooth is killing me! Whats wrong with it!?
My sister ran into me yesterday with her head hitting my front tooth!.!. i thought she had knocked it out being the pain extremely hurting!.!.!. It went numb, but it didnt seem loose!.!. i woke up this morning and it still pain, but no discoloration or anything!.!. just still hurts with i touch it with my toungue!.!. and still kinda numb!.!.!. whats wrong with it!? Oh and im going to the dentist tomorrow!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Please dont touch it either with your tongue or with your finger to see whether it is okay now or not!.
If the pain is there, take any safe pain-killer for that and again i am saying that for at least two weeks dont put this particular tooth to function!.!.!.!.!.it means that if it is hurting you while taking meals, then your dentist whom you are visiting tomorrow will provide relief!.!.!.!.ie he will do little bit of grinding to avoid the contact of this tooth with the corresponding tooth in the opposite arch!. And you in the meantime just avoid using it!.!.!.!.!.dont even bite upon any apple or even banana using this tooth at least for 2 weeks!.
Your dentist will most probably take an X-ray to see the root!.!.
Can you do little of hot fomentation of the overlying lip( above that particular tooth)!.!.!.!.!.!.!.it would be quite soothing!!
Regarding discoloration, plz note but dont feel stressed to hear that such teeth sometimes take any thing from a couple of weeks, months or as much as 8-10years to become discolored!. You see sometimes Mother Nature is so unpredictable!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.may be in your case it will never become discolored!. And that's why dentist would suggest your a follow-up schedule for checking the vitality of this injured tooth!.
