Can any dental hygienists give me advice? I'm thinking about school!?!

I want to go to school for dental hygiene!. I did some research and see that it is a 2 year program!. [i'm in california btw] I am looking into Cerritos college!. Do you have any general pointers!? Are there night classes or all daytime to finish in 2 years!? How much should I expect to make when i finish the board exam!?
I'm interested in knowing because i'm trying to find the best profession that is flexible and pays well so that i can buy a house and have a family :)
