Well, you won't be able to eat things like carrots or apples until they're off - it's too risky for breaking the brackets!. Does it still hurt to eat sandwiches/hot dog type things!? I think mine stopped hurting after about a week or two - don't worry it will stop!. My sister just got hers a few months ago and hers hurt for about 2 weeks, also!. Sometimes they will hurt right after your adjustments but it shouldn't last but a few hours at most!.
Trust me - braces are worth it!. I didn't realize it until I got mine off but it's really nice to have pretty teeth! :-DWww@Answer-Health@Com

when i got mine i ate patato soup and chicken noodle and things like that!.
whenever they stop hurting you can!.
