Question: Re-filling a filling; does it hurt!?
I remember when I got my 3 fillings for my teeth, they were a pain in the ***! Not so much pain though but I just hate the dentist's office and actually nevermind, there was a little pain and the drilling was painful and annoying!. lol
NOW 1 of those fillings has become loose and is about to fall off, I'm going to go and get it re-filled!. My question is, is it painful!? It's on the top tooth and on the wide one!.!.!.so maybe that makes it easier for the Dentist and less painful for me!? lol
Again, is getting your tooth re-filled more painful or less painful then when you first got it filled!?
I'm also getting a filling on a bottom tooth, will that hurt!?

It shouldnt hurt at all! Your dentist should use anesthetic to get you numb (probably Lidocaine) and you shouldn't feel a thing!. No matter which tooth it is!. Dentist's do filling all day long, it is probably 60% of their schedule, so you should have no worries!. Just try to relax when you go in, you may be stressing yourself out!. Take your Ipod or headphones to drown out the sounds and lay back and close your eyes!. Like I said, you will be numb so you shouldn't feel a thing! Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
with enough novacaine, nothing will hurt ;o)!. I had a couple cavities leak and when my dentist fixed them, there was no pain!. he may have to make a clean surface to work with, so there may be a little more grinding/drilling involved!. its not really the pain that hurts, its the fear of pain that hurts!.
