Question: More braces!?
as i posted earlier, i'm getting braces on friday!. but i forgot to mention that i have to play the flute right after that!. (whithin hours) what should i do!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eat Ice Cream! that helped me a lot!. I don't know how, but it did!. And just be calm about it, don't worry so much!. Braces pain will go away!.
When i first got my braces, i had to play my clarinet the next day!. and ice cream deff!. worked!.

When I had braces when I was in band I asked my director if I could be excused for the day!. I had to play the clarinet and it hurt to bite down on my reed!. I'm not sure how uncomfortable it would be with braces!. I most likely would not try playing just hours afterward!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

haha try practicing with ur braces and get the feel of it!. you'll eventually get use to it!. another thing is put wax over ur braces so as u practice getting use to it u won't cut your lips :)

That may be a slight problem but not big!.
I got braces and the next day i had a saxophone concert, all i can tell you to do is eat soup that helps ease the pain!. Your mouth is just gonna be sore its nothing big!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your teeth don't start hurting like hell until a few hours after you get your braces on!.!.!. Take A LOT of Tylenol before!.!. Actually, you probably wont be able to play the flute for days after!.!. Oh well-- braces are more important!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
