Question: Getting braces tomorrow morning=/!?
i know there are already a lot of questions to do with braces on here!.!.!.i just sort of want to get my own opinions!.!.
i have to get an expander on tomorrow as well i think, but is that going to be on at the same time as my braces, or just the bottom!? also, how long does the whole process of putting them on take!? how long afterwards will it hurt!? also i heard the glue tastes really badd!.!.is it worse than getting an impression because i almost threw up when i had those!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

some of your questions I can answer from my own experience!. putting the braces on isn't bad, but the stuff they wipe on your teeth first before they place the brackets is bad, sour & bitter at the same time!. Not as bad as the impression, though!. After having the braces put on your teeth will hurt about a week, then each time they tighten them they will hurt 3-5 days!. For the first few weeks the insides of your mouth will hurt from rubbing against the brackets/braces, etc!. That part will go away, as the insides of your cheeks "toughen up"!. Motrin (ibuprofen) is good for the pain, and you can swish and spit Chloroseptic throat spray to numb the inside of your mouth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
the whole thing took about an hour, hour 1/2 for me and they didnt hurt until that night!. yes the glue tastes like, for lack of a better term sh*t!. just get (this worked well for me) sprite mixed with lemonade either before and save it or after and that will help with the taste!. it made me gag, but i actually liked getting the impressions i thought it was kinda fun!

braces takes an hour or two!.!.!.!.!.it wont really hurt the first day!.!.!.it just feels weird!. the second day it hurts really bad and you feel it for like a few weeks just cuz ur getting used to them!. the glue does taste bad but its not nearly as bad as the impressiosn!!! dont worry!.!.!.!.you will be fineWww@Answer-Health@Com
