Question: What exactly does it mean to get ur gums cut!.!.!.!.!?
when i got my braces off i was told i needed to get my gums cut by the dentist!.!.!.(because i have a really gummy smile)!.!.what exactly does that mean && is it painful!?!?!?!?!?plz hepl! im getting this procedure done today!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

what they do is they cut the gums (shorten them) to make the gum line higher!.!.!. making your teeth look longer!. it will suck, i cant lie!. you will be numbed up so you wont feel a thing!. good news is that your mouth heals really fast so in about 2 weeks you should be fine!.!.!. it may still be a little tender!. just make sure you rinse with your salt water mix to help it heal and kill infection!. good luck!. and it will make your smile look really good so in the long run you will be glad you got it done!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't really know!.!.!. but I assume they will cut your gums at the top of your tooth so more of your pearly whites show :)!.
I also assume that the Dr will numb it with a Novocaine needle :S, so you wont feel pain while they are doing the procedure, but after the numbing stuff wears off, you may feel pain!.
