What is the difference between plaque and tartar?!


Question: What is the difference between plaque and tartar!?

plaque is the soft coating that you brush off your teeth every morning!. when that soft coating doesn't get brushed off properly it mixes with the bacterias in the saliva and hardens!. It is stuck to your tooth and brushing will not remove it!. At this stage is it now Tartar!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tartar is hardened plaque!. It occurs when you don't brush the plaque away and it hardens on your teeth leaving calcified deposits!. It has a rough surface which easily allows more plaque to accumulate!. can also cause gingivitis!. hope i helpedWww@Answer-Health@Com
