Using the syringe after wisdom teeth extraction?!

Question: Using the syringe after wisdom teeth extraction!?
Last Friday I got 5 wisdom teeth extracted, and I went today for a follow up!. Well, the nurse gave me a syringe that she stuck in each cut on each side where the bottom teeth were extracted!. She says that I've healed really well, and that I probably won't have to use the syringe very long!. When she used it on me, she stuck the tip of the syringe directly in the hole of the cut and rinsed it with salt water!.!.when I spat, there was a lot of blood!. She said that I'd have to use it after the last meal of the day, and to stick the tip of the syringe directly into the hole of the cut near the area of extraction!. I just tried this a few minutes ago, but I had a hard time locating an exact opening & keeping it steady at the same time!. I was just wondering if it is necessary that the tip of the syringe is directly IN the cut!? Can I just place the tip of the syringe ON the cut and rinse that way!? Afterwards, I had a little bit of blood, but not nearly as much as I did this morning!.
Thanks guysWww@Answer-Health@Com

It doesn;t really matter as long as you reach and wash the cut!. Since it prevents an infection you might wan to try directly in but close enough is fine as long as no food is in the wound!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can place it near the extraction!. All it is doing is rinsing food particles away from the hole to keep them from growing up in your gums!. There is no need to stick the tip into the hole, that may set up infection of some kind!.
Place the tip near the hole, but not in it, and rinse with the salt water at least before you go to bed, for at least a week or 2!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
