Will the dentist need to freeze when he replaces the temporary crown with a perm!

Question: Will the dentist need to freeze when he replaces the temporary crown with a permanent one!?
Answers:
I have worked for dentists who numb the tooth (the one I work for now does) and ones that never due unless severe hypersensitivity occurs!. See, the reason for the temp crown is to protect the tooth from being sensitive to cold, sweets, etc!.!. when he removes it, the air or cold may be too much for it, depending on your situation!. If the tooth may require endodontic treatment (root canal) the tooth will be very sensitive and the dentist may prefer numbing you!. My dentist uses a hand piece to clean the cement off the tooth, so you need to be numb for that!. If they do numb you, it is usually not as much as they did for the first appointment!. Call and ask!Www@Answer-Health@Com
