Question: Are all of childrens baby teeth supposed to fall out!?
PLEASE HELP!! my sister who turned 11 a couple of months ago keeps on asking me if all of her baby teeth is supposed to fall out!.She needs braces but she doesnt know which teeth are supposed to fall out!.Some of the teeth are the last three on the top row and the last two on the bottom row!.I dont know either!.PLEASE HELP!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

She's 11 she may have some baby teeth for another year, baby molars, the very last teeth should be permenant big molars she got around age 6 or 7, but right next to them will be baby molars, 2 of them next to each molar, so 8 baby molars all together!. I know that I still had mine when I was 12, because I had to get them taken out before I could get braces which I got 6 months after my 12th birthday!. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist and I can tell you that some adults still have baby teeth because they just never got 1 or 2 of their grown up teeth!. But your sister is still very young and shouldn't worry about that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes, all of her primary teeth should fall out when the adult teeth below the gumline are ready to push the primary teeth out!. Your orthodontist will be able to determine the course of treatment for her as she continues to lose teeth!. Most likely though, the orthodontist won't start treatment until all of her primary teeth fall out!. That is why we see LOTS of teenagers with braces, some adults with braces, and very few children with braces!. I hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's different for everyone!. My baby teeth just didn't want to leave! I had to get one pulled (not painful at ALL)!. I think they were all out when I as like 12 or something!. The orthodontist will either wait for braces or have them pulled out so the adult teeth will be able to come in faster without another tooth in the way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, all baby teeth come out!. But don't worry, dentists know the difference between baby teeth and adult teeth!. They won't put braces on her if they see baby teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
