Well everyone has different experiences with braces and different thresholds of pain!. Having the braces put on will not hurt because all they do is glue brackets to your teeth and slide a wire through them!. Afterward your mouth will be pretty tight and probably a little sore or more depending on your teeth and their sensitivity!. The best thing you can do is take 2 Tylenol, Advil, or whatever pain reliever you take BEFORE you sit in the chair so they will kick in by the time the orthodontist is done!. Also it will take a while to get used to eating with the braces, so have plenty of softer foods at home, yummy things though like pudding or ice cream or whatever else you like!.

I had braces for 3 years and some visits hurt for a few days after and others i never felt any pain at all!. A good remedy if you are ever feeling sore or in pain is gargling with warm salt water!. I know it sounds gross but the heat will relieve some of the pain and the salt can reduce any swelling if you ever get any!. But all in all, they are not a terrifying experience!. Besides, you will be so happy you had them a few years down the road when you have straight teeth!.

oh p!.s!. start carrying a toothbrush with you when you can and know you will be eating, it will take a while to get used to eating and not getting things stuck!. ha ha!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

okay heres some advice, braces may hurt your mouth or teeth for a week or two but after that they wont bother you as much!. take tylenol for pain, and remember to watch what you eat! after a while you get used to having braces but the first weeks are kind of painful so it is best to maybe eat softer foods like PB and J, soup, etc!. They dont really hurt otherwise but be sure to take good care of your teeth and ask the orthodontist for some " brace wax" because the wax covers the brackets on your teeth so they dont scratch up your lips or cheeks ( trust me the wax really helps)!. I still have braces!. it shouldnt hurt to talk that much either!.!.!. it will be worth the work in the end cuz you'll have straight teeth! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh don't be soft!. There is nothing bad about them!. The first day you have them they will feel strange, like when you press on your teeth you can feel the spressure!. When you first get them its as bad as it will get, cos you can't clench your teeth together, and you couldn't eat even bread on the first day!. But the day after you will be fine!.

They make a big difference too, i think they are great!. Go for some flash colours on your bands!.

Oh and make sure, at the end on each brace there is the wire end, make sure the dentist trims that off, otherwise like me for a month i had long bits sticking into the sides of my mouth!. That was about my only bad experiance with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well every individual has his or her opinion so don go by others view on any video as its not the same case with everyone so go and experience it all urself!
Dentist is going to plan the treatment as what can and what is needed to be done , he or shes gonna explain the whole procedure its time duration and cost of the treatment to you !
he or she is going to take the diagnostic impressions of ur mouth as to make diagnostic and working casts on which they will plan the complete treatment and further treatment as per ur case would be conducted on other subsequent appointments!
thers thin to get feared off as just imagine the condition after completion of the whole treatment ,as the pain suffered while the treatment would appear too less in comparison toi the results after treatment!Www@Answer-Health@Com
