Question: Root Canal!!!!?
Well i just went for a regular 6 month check up at the dentist!. and my dentist notice this bump at the side of my tooth!. its been thre for at least a few months but i just ignored it!. and he said that my tooth is infected and need a root canal!.!.!.!.im worry that it might be too late for one since the bump has been there for a while!. i schdeule for an appointment in july but im startin to feel pain on my teeth!! and the bump seems to get bigger!! is it too late or do i need to get the tooth extracted!?!? im scared!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're already feeling pain!? I think it would be extracted!. But in my case, I was already feeling pain but my dentist was able to go through with the root canal and save my tooth!.
Your dentist will be the one to determine whether it may be too late or she/he can still save your tooth!. If you get a root canal just relax, you will feel a bit of pain but don't worry once you can't tolerate it anymore, you can request for a local anaesthesia to be administered!. You would need to feel a bit of pain 'cause your dentist have to locate where the nerve endings are and whether he/she's touching on the right nerve!.
But if you get a tooth extraction, again, relax, your dentist will give you something to take to lessen the bleeding and swelling after the extraction!. The pain from extraction will last only half a day or the whole day max, from the time the anaethesia wears off!.
Believe me, you'd rather have either treatment rather than have an infected tooth untreated and be treated for something more serious that will require surgery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh no a root canal!.!.I feel so bad for you!.Just try to relax!.!.I think the doctor would want you in much earlier if it got to be that bad!.!.!.!.But here is what you could do!.If it is starting to hurt much worse in the past couple of days maybe yo should call the doctor and see if they have anything earlier!.Cause one time my mom called in and told them that i had a bad toothache and they had a scheduel for me much earlier than it was!.Hope it goes well!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
oh no root canal!.dont worry the pain will only be temporary and u wont need the tooth extracted!.trust me i got a root canal b4!.its not that bad!.u will b fine!.dont sweat it!.just calm down and take pain relievers like asprin tylenol or ibuprofen!.wen u go bak 2 ur orthodontist chill and get it over with!.and no u cant but just do wat the dentist said!.i wish you the best of luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Call your dentist!. You may need some antibiotics to get the swelling down in the meantime before your appointment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
