Question: My mom won't go to the dentist!?
Her mouth has been hurting her for a long time (she won't get her wisdom teeth out)!. And lately, I'm pretty sure it's been hurting more than usual!. I guess she has a lump on her gums--
and she just won't go to the dentist!!
How are we to get her to go!? It's obvious this isn't just going to go away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Look, for some reason your mom is a dental phobic!. I was one, so I know how it feels!.!.!.
She feels that no matter the pain, she can't face the shame a regular dentist could put her through, and she feels that the pain she knows is better than the pain she might have to face!.
Find a dentist who is an expert in dealing with dental phobics, then speak with your mom!. Tell her that you know she is phobic but that you want to help her!.!.!. tell her that you found a great dentist who knows how to handle people with her, and offer to walk her to the doctor and even stay in with her during the visit!.

Pretend like you're taking her out to eat, and surprise! Dentist time ;P
But it sounds like her wisdom teeth really should be removed!. I think the majority of people with them have them removed because of such pains!. It'll make her feel a ton better and she won't regret it!. My mom had it done!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tell her that having an infection in your mouth is dangerous!. The blood supply in your mouth can quickly spread an infection to other parts of your body!. Dental hygiene is very important to a persons overall good healthWww@Answer-Health@Com
