Question: Is there any way I can speed up the process of making my teeth straight!?
I've been wearing braces for a year now, and I'm just not fond of it anymore!. I want to take it off but I also want my teeth straightened!. Is there any way I can make my gums softer to speed up the straightening process!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

braces have nothing to do with your gums being soft!. The teeth move in the bone!. The pressure that the braces put on the teeth cause the bone to resorb (disolve) making a place for the tooth to move into!. After the tooth moves into its new place new bone forms behind it!. That is why sometimes your teeth feel a little loose while you are in braces!.
The best thing you can do is take care of your braces, and most importantly wear the rubber bands like the dentist instructs you to!. They really suck and hurt, but not wearing them properly can actually delay your treatment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
