Do what i do, close your eyes so you don't see the needle in the reflection of the light or his glasses breathe deeply through your nose and keep telling yourself that the pain you are feeling is nothing to the raging tooth ache that can keep you up all night if you don't get the tooth fixed!.
It does sting a little but its only for a couple of seconds and i would much rather have one that a filling without!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Explain your fear to your dentist & they will use a gel to numb your gum a bit before the actual injection, it feels like a stinging for a second or two!.
Your dentist will try and make it as pain free as possible!.
Your not alone in this you know lots of people including me hate needdles!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It doesn't hurt much - more of a sting!. If you ask they can apply an anaesthetic jelly to the gum first, which numbs it a little, before they put the needle in!. Just try to relax as tensing up makes things hurt more !.!.!. and it only takes a short time, so concentrate on the future time when it'll be over!. Let you mind drift!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You will feel a pressure for about a second!.!.!.your Dentist will rub an anesthetic cream on the gum first so you won't feel much at all!. The anticipation and seeing the needle is what causes the most anxiety!. Just close your eyes!. It will be over before you know it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Heya
A good dentist will not even let you see the needle!. It's just a little pinch!. The only thing that really hurts is if the anesthetic is significantly cooler than body temp!. Otherwise they give you a local so you don't even feel the needle!.

Hope i helped, and good luck

No as the dentist will rub some gel on the gum first and you normally only fell the tiniest of pricks!. Tell your dentist yours fears!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
