Help with my tongue ring?!?!
Question: Help with my tongue ring!?!!?
is the plastic ball kind
less likely to wear down the enamel!?
i use 2 have the steel kind
and i always chipped my teeth
and felt like the enamel was getting worn down
also im used 2 having the long ones in but i have a short bar
now i been feeling a weird spot behing my
lower gums
idk if its from the tongue ring
because ive had it pierced for a year
and never had that problem or if its just me
pushing my gums too much

Oral piercings are terrible for your teeth and your gums!. They can cause recession and chip teeth as well as create an environment where plaque can trap and cause disease!. You can even accumulate tartar on your tongue ring just like you would on your teeth!. Having a plastic ball will help with chipping the teeth!. Make sure you are usuing a fluroidated toothpaste to help remineralize any enamel you have damaged!.
