Which retainer?!
Question: Which retainer!?
I get my braces off in two months, max three!. the ortho is thinking two tho!. if i have a choice of retainers, i think i'll go with a wire hawley than the plastic esssix!. all my friends wish they went with a hawley!. what colour should i get!?

well i would go with the hawley!. I got the plastic one and i broke it twice just by brushing it out and i was holding it like normal and it split in two!. Aslo the plastic ones crack really easy!. I got my braces off about 8 months ago and for the first 6 months i was suppose to wear it 24 hours except to eat and brush!. i wore it mabey 22 or 23 hours a day!. Then after the 6 month i wore it just at night!. my doc said i could!. I really love having striaght teeth!. especially it make it soo much easier to brush and floss!. One of my really close friends got her braces off about 5 months ago and she never wore her retainer and after about 1 and half months she was back in braces because they moved so much!. so wear your retainer for at least a couple months and then switch to just at night!. For colors i would say pink swirls or pink stars!. Your lucky i didnt have a choice of retainers!. well good luck and remeber to wear it it may be a pain in the but to wear but its better in the long run!.

well I am getting a harley and not the essix retainer because if you don't clean the essix retainer good it will turn yellow and people say their teeth tends to move in the essix retainer
