I had the exact same thing happen to me!. I actually had a gap between my two front teeth when they took my braces off!. They made me a medal retainer, and it closed up nicely!. I was kinda freaking out though!.

If you don't feel comfortable with your teeth before your braces are off, tell your orthodontist! You paid to make your teeth perfect, and they have to give it to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sometimes it takes a few tightenings for things to actually do what they are supposed to

when i had my braces it made me have a huge gap between my two teeth that used to over lap
within a few tightenings they were closed and perfect

but if you says that the next visit they are to be taken off and you dont feel that they're perfect enough, tell him you want to wait a little longer

:D dont let him take those suckers off too soon!.!.!.like mine did :DWww@Answer-Health@Com

the orthodontist knows what he/she is doing !. !. gaps are a good thing, !. !. i work for an orthodontist, he bends the wire to cause the teeth to gap its all about the movement!. the gaps might close with every adjustment he may do before you get them removedWww@Answer-Health@Com

Seems to me you need the braces to be on longer!. A retainer will keep them where they are, but doesn't move the teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
