Question: Scary Dentist Appointment! PLEASE HELP!!?
I have a dentist appointment in like 3 hours, so they're going to make me gargle with fluoride!. They say I'm not suppose to eat or drink 30 minutes after, but I hate the taste of fluoride and it makes me sick!. What can I do to rid of that awful taste!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

My young daughters get flouride rinses 2 x a year!.!.!.!.!.our dentist has many flavors!.!.!.choc chip mint, bubble gum, cotton candy, etc!. Ask your dentist for child's flouride rinse and tell him why!. It won't do your teeth any good if you puke after you get the rinse because you hate the taste so badly!. You do not have to have anything you do not want!.!.!.!.but the fluoride is great to reduce cavities and strengthen the teeth!.!.!.!.
If you take fluoride supplements daily!.!.!.!.!.and don't have cavities you can feel ok to skip the office fluoride rinse!.!.!.!.
there are also fluoride varnishes that are are sticky and applied to the teeth with a brush and are not a rinse!.!.!.!.ask if they have those!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
