i change mine every month!. it usually only lasts that long with braces! i have braces by the way!. don't get an electric toothbrush: expensive, and it's easier to clean with a regular one anyway!. the same will happen to the brush heads on an electirc toothbrush! and they cost more to replace than a regular toothbrush!Www@Answer-Health@Com

just get an electric one!. As the other answer said before they clean your teeth much better than regular tooth brushes!. They get into all the hard to reach places and really reduce the amount of plaque that easily gets built up around the brackets and wires!. They may be worth more money but the results are worth it!. But if you choose to stick to the manual toothbursh i would recommend changing approximetly every 3 months and maybe try not to brush as hard as you do because tooth brushes really shouldnt tare up the quickly and brushing that hard wouldnt be very good for your gums!. Maybe just ask your orthodontist or dentist at your next appointmentWww@Answer-Health@Com

ya get a sonic care they might cost money but they work soo goood i have braces to my first toothbrush was torn i went to the ortho and ask what kind of toothbrush i should i get and sonicare they told me and a month when i went back they said did u get ur teeth clean and i said no i used the sonicareWww@Answer-Health@Com

I have never had braces but you should replace your toothbrush at least every 3 months!. in your case now would be good!. you dont want a danky torn up tooth brush cleaning your teeth do you!? I think you may want to replace everytime your toothbrush looks worn out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dentists recommend a new toothbrush every three months!. If yours is showing signs of wear due to the braces, get a new one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I only know that a person without braces should change his toothbrush every six months, if that helps!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have to replace my brush every three weeks because it looks so worn out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
