Answers:
yes, labial frenectomy is a very brief procedure!.!.!.!.just dont worry about it!.!.!.!.!.it will not take more that 5-10 minutes!. For this, your dentist will first give you local anesthesia injection!. And then do the procedure!.

Actually, this is done in case of patients who have high frenum!.!.!.means due to their high frenal attachment, the gum margins are getting stretched and their health is affected!. So, to prevent any sort of harm to these, this small procedure is carefully carried out!.

Yes, I think you know about this frenum!.!.!.!.it is a small band like tissue which extends from lip to the labial surface of the gums!.

No, it does not hurt at all during the procedure!.

Regarding filling of cavities, plz feel absolutely relaxed and carefree!. By the way, dentistry now-a-days is just so painless!.
Relating to something!?!.!.!.!.!.so, I can say that the discomfort during the actual procedure should be even much much lesser than a thorn pricking your foot !!

Just go ahead!.!.!.!.dont worry!.!.!.take it easy !Www@Answer-Health@Com

The procedures you are having done will be done under local anesthetic!.!.!.!.or Novacaine!. It's just a little pick with a needle that probably won't even bother you!. After that you might feel the dentist working but it will be more of a pressure feeling because you are numb!. It won't be pain!. You will do just fine!!

The frenulum is that little web of skin that attaches the inside part of your lip to your gum!. You have one both on the top and on the bottom, in the center of your lip!. The medical term "ectomy" means to remove!. There may be a few disolvable stitches afterward but they will go away in a week or so!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

for this procedure, and fillings, you basically just have to feel the anesthetic!.!.!.but to lessen that feeling some, you could ask for some topical anesthetic to be applied to the injection site!.!.!.generally it has benzocaine in it & leaves a feeling like having a throat lozenge!.
as for post-op, flgs feel sore generally due to having the teeth worked on and the gingiva/gums worked around!. Teeth can feel pretty sensitive after, sometimes, depending on how deep the cavities are and the size of the flg and type of flg material used!. White flgs conduct hot and cold differently to the nerve than do silver/amalgam flgs!. You mostly don't want to feel heat sensitivity, that's more of a red flag sign!.!.!.cold isn't bad though!. Sometimes any sensitivity can be solved with having the flgs ajusted at a later appointment, after the freezing has come out and your bite is moreso back to normal!. You won't necessarily feel as though your bite is off, but according to "articulating/'bite' paper", your dentist will be better able to tell if a flg is high!. After any ajustments have been done, you generally will be able to see improvement on sensitivities in around 3-5days, thereabouts!. If a flg is high a tooth becomes sensitive to bite b/c every time that you bite down on it you are causing trauma to the nerve & it almost causes like a a bruise to it, in almost all cases this can be reversed with a simple quick adjustment!.
Basically, flgs won't hurt!. It is just the site of injection that will feel uncomfortable for a couple of days, perhaps, and just the gums that are in that area!. Sometimes your jaw can be sore for a bit after, depending on how long you have to be open for & whereabouts the flgs are!.!.!.there are bite blocks that help with that, though!.
With the frenectomy, you probably would be a little bit sore afterwards!. I can't say personally what it feels like, but you will probably end up with at least one suture/stitch afterwards which will probably be more irritating than anything, but only for up to a week, depending on the type of suture!.!.!.gut resorb on their own & silk have to be taken out by the opperator!. Mostly, just take what you generally take for pain, or what the dentist prescribes, generally something like an OTC med will work!.!.!.usually something like Advil will be reccommended as it has anti-inflammatory properties!.!.!.Tylenol will help with pain or discomfort, but not swelling so much!. It is also good to have something in your system before the anesthetic wears off, for post-op comfort!. Remember to rinse with salt water afterwards, also, and NOT mouthwash! Your dentist and dental assistant will give you all of the post-op instuctions before and/or after you appointment!. Call the office if you would really like to know anymore!. Make sure you talk to licenced professionals!.
Also, if you need anymore freezing during your proceedures, just let the dentist know!.!.!.they are not out to hurt anyone or make them feel uncomfortable, therefore, you should not feel ANY pinching or anything sharp during an appointment, but will perhaps feel pushing and pressure!.!.!.those can't really be helped!. Worst case senerio, you can ask for something to calm you before, if you are still aprehensive to dental tx!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
