Water Blister in Mouth?!

Question: Water Blister in Mouth!?
What causes water blisters in mouths!? Every once in a while, my daughter gets a water blister in her mouth that, when popped, goes away and is nothing but water!. It is clear and occurs on the mouth either on the side of the mouth or inside of the lip!. Never on the gums!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
it sounds like a mucocele!. it is caused by a blockage in a salivary gland!. it is not serious and shouldn't be painful at all!. it can just be annoying and make her want to play with it!. it is full of saliva!. they will come and go!. if it gets annoying to her, see your dentist!. hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hmmm!.!.!.sometimes there can be a few different reasons, possibly a mucocele!. It may be nothing, it may be something, I would have it checked by an oral pathologist (referred by your dentist) --just to rule out a salivary gland obstruction!. Don't freak out, just get it checked!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
