I had a loose tooth and while I was eating a bagel it just randomly broke into 3 pieces, now I hae to get that tooth pulled out at the dentist but since it was already loose he might not even use novacaine or whatever it is called, since it was somewhat loose, will it hurt to get it pulled!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will hurt, but no where near as much as you think it will!. You can try pulling at it yourself probably!. I used to twist mine until they tore loose enough to just fall!. Everyone is different, but for me it was more like getting my ears pierced!. It is a quick shock with a little pain (not any more than it hurt to get my ears pierced), but it is over quickly and you don't have any lasting pain!. Nothing to really worry about, but I wouldn't say painless!. If it was really loose already, then you will probably laugh at being scared at all :) They probably won't use novacaine because the shot would hurt more than the pulling of the tooth!. I hate those shots!

if most of it is already out anyway it will probably only take a few seconds to get the rest out, you probably won't need numbing, but i'm sure if you asked for it he would give it to you!. no dr intentionally wants his patients to be in pain!. Baby teeth are easy to get out and shouldn't hurt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
is it a baby tooth!? if it is it probably wont hurt that much as the root of milk teeth is not very deeply embedded!. you will probably feel a little pinch but nothing else!. dont worry about it! hope i helped reassure you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
