Question: Bottom braces troubles!?
Hi I got bottom braces today (I already had top braces) and my orthodontist put them so I'm kind of biting down on my braquets and wire and he said that they may come off because I have to bite down on them!! And I'm going to camp for 2 weeks in a couple days and what will I do if it comes off!?!!?!!?!? Is this normal and do you think they'll come off!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I went to a three week camp after getting my bottom braces and despite my orthodontists warning, they didnt come off!. Loads of my friends have braces too and none of their braquets or wired ever came off!. If worst comes to worse, wait til you come back from your camp then give your orthodontist a call and he can fix it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
if you're going to camp and they do come off, you need to contact either the orthodontist or your parents so they can give him/her a call!. if the brackets come off, take them out and put them in a lil container, a baggie should do the trick!. if you continue to have problems, call your ortho immediately, dont wait! i dont think its normal for you to have to bite down them because i had them, but pretty soon youll get used to how you are supposed to act/work with them!. and just remember, its worth ittt!Www@Answer-Health@Com
yes, sometimes the brackets do come off this is normal!. It happened to me twice! you will need some advil b/c your teeth will be sore, and then the orthodontist will glue them right back on, no big deal!. if you just got them on i wouldn't worry about it, mine popped off months later!. you should have nothing to worry about, but if you do it's fixable with a trip to your dr so don't worry and have fun at camp!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
They might come off!. I had that same problem when I had braces!. So my orhtodontist put this cement stuff on the back of my front teeth!. It felt really weird!. It was hard to adjust to them too!.
If it comes off, then there is nothing you can do except wait til you get back from camp and go to the orthodontist!.

if they come off you have to get them back on!
