This was my first night with my transparent retainers and I'm having problem!

Question: This was my first night with my transparent retainers and I'm having problems!.!?
Ok!. Problem #1 is that all my teeth are loose and wiggly!. Problem #2 is that it seems that my teeth have shrunk and have a yellow tinge to them (I had very white teeth before)!. Problem #3 is that before, my teeth fit in perfectly with each other and now it seems that they have moved and doesn't fit at all!. Problem #4 is that when I bite down, there's pain!. Also, the orthodontist's office is closed so I decided to use yahoo answers to get an answer before Monday!. Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi ive gone through ortho treatment for 4 years and have just finished!. All the symptoms are COMPLETELY normal!. I experienced the exact same things, like wiggly teeth, discomfort, and alot of my teeth did get discolours because they are sitting under plastic!. I just got everything done and my teeth are eventually staring to whiten out!. Its normal for there to be pain when you bite down because the teeth are being forced to move around hence the loose feeling!. Theyre also only part way through moving so they dont fit toegther yet!. however in the very end everything is soo worth it!. My teeth used to be soo uglyyy but now everyone comments on how beautiful they are! good luck with everything and i assure you it is perfectly normal!. But if you get reaalllyy bad pain which i got i would try taking some pain killer like aspirin!. If there is something really wrong like ur retainer breaks or the pain is too much to handle talk to your orthodontist immediatly! Hoppe i helped! <><Www@Answer-Health@Com

well if u just got your retainer then that how it going to feel for a few days but it will go away and i did that but i dont really understand the #2 part but for the rest just take tyenol and stuff for the painWww@Answer-Health@Com

After a week or so, you will get used to the retainer!. Your teeth are being shifted around, and probably will continue to feel a bit unstable for a week or two!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
