Well, I was told by my dentist to wait for 24 hours, but I didn't!. I waited about 12hours!. I was okay because I tried to smoke from the other side of my mouth (I only had one pulled)!. I also inhaled it very gently and slowly!. The main problem is sucking in air or smoke hard - dries the socket!. Smoking also dries the mouth!. Good luck to you!. If you really need a cigarette, just try this and be careful!. Also, try not to smoke too much for the next few days and drink a lot of water - you don't want to swish, but you can kind of hold it in your mouth for a minute and spit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
SAYING WITH LOTS AND LOTS OF RELUCTANCE BUT i must reply !.!.!.so, just 3-4 days after the wisdom tooth extraction, you may choose to use that "cancer stick"!.
But , there are definite studies which have proved that smoking delays the wound healing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It really hurt to suck on a straw and spit for 2 days for me and it still hurts a bit after 5!. I would guess maybe 3 would be safe, you dont want a dry socket!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
