Coated, brown tongue....what CAN I clean it with?!
Question: Coated, brown tongue!.!.!.!.what CAN I clean it with!?
I smoke!.!.!.!.about 3 packs a day!.!.!.I KNOW, I KNOW!.!.!.but I do, and my tongue is coated over with a brown, coating!. I brush often, rinse with mouthwash, but nothing gets the brown stain off!. Any suggestions!?!.!.!.besides the obvious one to quit smoking, lol!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Brush your tongue with baking soda, use a tongue scrapper afterwords then gargle with Listerine (regular flavor)!.

Yes, Listerine and a tongue scraper work well!. Tongue scraper needs to be used once or twice a day!. Takes a few days to notice a good improvement!. Brushing the tongue doesn't seem to help as much!. Also, drink more water!. The drier your tongue is, the more things stick to it!. My doctor told me to use hydrogen peroxide mixed with a little water and swish it like a mouth wash!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
