What's wrong with my gums?!
Question: What's wrong with my gums!?
about 9 days ago i started getting a sore bit on my gum just above my right canine,about 3days later a white spot appeared and now its like a white slash on my gum about 1cm long!. the gum is a bit red round about it and it hurts!. i tried brushing it with my toothbrush 2days ago (OUCH!!) to see if it would burst but it didn't!.
Also I am 7weeks pregnant in case that has any relevance! i don't have a dentist at present - do you think its anything worth going to the doctor about!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like a pyogenic granuloma!.!.!.I know, big word! Haha!.!.!.It's basically something very common among pregnant women!. With your hormones going crazy, it affects your whole body!. A lot of pregnant women develop pregnancy gingivitis, and sometimes they also develop those exact "bumps" like the one you've got!. Just be gentle brushing, but continue to do so!. Also, FLOSS, FLOSS, FLOSS!!!! Keep it clean around the "bump"!. You should also rinse with Crest ProHealth or Listerine to kill the "bad" bacteria in your mouth!. If it continues to grow and/or really bother you, go see your dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
