Question: Dentist Tommorow!?
First of all i hate the dentist and i have to go there to get a few fillings filled!.The place is a chain called gental dental!.Ive never had fillings done what to they do how much does it hurt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will only hurt when you get the numbing agent and thats a prick!. They will clean up the area around the filling and place whatever sealant ect in there!. Fillings were much more painful and loger about 10 years ago!. Nowadays its nothing like it once was!. It takes about 30 mins and doesnt hurt!. you may have some sensitivity to cold afterwards though, but it will go awayWww@Answer-Health@Com
I hate the dentist too so I feel for you!. After you get the shot of novacaine, you shouldn't feel anything!. I have them spray a numbing agent on the area before the shot!. It works better than the other stuff they put on a Qtip!. If you do feel anything , let them know!. They'll give you another shot!. (you won't feel the second one)Www@Answer-Health@Com
well it kinda hurts when they give you the numbing stuff with a shot but the rest of the drilling doesnt hurt at all!.
you can also ask if your cavities arent to deep the numbing shot might not be needed!. thast what happened to me, i didnt get the numbing shot and i didnt feel a thing, so talk to your doctor about it!.

Fillings do NOT hurt except for the little needle they but in to numb it but that hardly hurts at all it's just like a tiny pinch!. The only other place it might hurt a little is when they drill the hole in your tooth!. Hope that helped:)Www@Answer-Health@Com
