Question: Is this normal after dental sealants!?
My kids got their dental sealants today!. Afterward they kept telling their dad that their teeth were "sticking together"!. Is that normal for a period afterward!? I was not there, but apparently hygenist/dentist did not mention any after effects!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, this is very normal!. It will get better as they wear down some after initially placed to only fit down into the grooves of their teeth, but they may sometimes notice stickiness now and then!. They will most likely feel strange for the first day or two and then feel much better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yes that is fine, its just because of the glue like stuff they put on, it should stop bothering them the next day, it will harden, i know because i just got them done, for a while it felt like i was chewing hard candy!. so no don't worry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
