Should we worry about getting our four year old daughter's cavities fixed if!

Question: Should we worry about getting our four year old daughter's cavities fixed if they are molars!?
We have been told by two dentists (one a pediatric) that our four year old daughter has 4 cavities in her bottom molars!. One has to be pulled because it is an abcess!. The other 3 are partial root canals!. The cost when finished will be $400!.00 out of pocket for us!. It just seems like a lot for a four year old!. I never had cavities, but my husband did!. The dentist told us that cavities are not genetic!. I brush my daughter's teeth daily and know other mom's that don't brush their kids teeth, and they don't have any cavities!!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Are you using fluoridated water!? There is a company that makes a bottle water with fluoride!. its called nursery water!. Your daughter will have those molars until she is about 10-12 yrs old so it is important to fix them!. If they are decayed or abcessed they can affect the permanent teeth which are already developing underneath them!. Not to mention the mouth is a very vascular area and the bacteria that flourish in the mouth will also go through the body!.
You might want to discuss her diet with the dentist!. There may be some hidden sugars!. If you give her juice or milk, be sure to give it to her at meals and don't let her sip on it all day!. it changes the pH balance in her mouth and causes decay to run rampant!. Other sources of sugar would be fruit roll-ups, gatorade, etc!. if she is drinking a lot of sugary drinks try to limit them or water them down!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes, the dentist is right in saying that the cavities are not genetic!. The necessary treatment of baby teeth should definitely be got done!. It is very important!.

Regarding the last line of your question, please note that there are so many individual variations!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.dental caries( cavities) is a multifactorial disease which depends not only brushing !.!.!.!.!.but depends upon the composition of saliva , our dietary habits, the type of toothpaste ( fluoridated/non-fluoridated) we use and so many other factors!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.anyway, the question that has come up in your mind is a valid question!.!.!.!.!.so, i woudl request you to see that your little one now brushes himself his teeth, and does daily tongue-scraping using a tongue-scraper!. And further have a look at his snacks!.!.!.!.!.sugary snacks, refined type and which cling to our teeth !.!.!.!.!.have to be avoided!. Just tell him to rinse his mouth with plain water after taking anything!.

alll the best !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should do it!. Molars are very important teeth!. Too much brushing with strong toothpaste may cause the enamel on the teeth, (the protection) to wear thin, thus causing the teeth to go partially unprotected-- allowing bacteria to get in and do their nasty work!. I wouldn't really say it's anything you are or are not doing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
