Question: How Long will it take to fit traintrack braces !?
I am having traintrack (fixed) braces fitted on wednesday on top and bottom and i was just wondering how long it took to fit them !. What 2 colours go well to put on the elastic bands and will i be able to eat as it is a friends birthday that night !?

Hi, I got braces about 3 months ago so hopefully I'll be able to help!.
I guess how long it takes to fit them would depend on your orthodontist but mine took around 20 minutes for each so thats around 40 for both top and bottom!.
Regarding whether you will be able to eat, I would say no, you will not be able to eat what you would normally!. My advice would be to stick to soft foods!. Sometimes a couple of neurofen or something before might help!.

I had the clamp style braces (thank god) so i didnt have to deal with elastics braking or chaning colour!. A lot of people try to get white or clear elastics (like my sister had) and they turn yellow after a week or two due to the food you eat!. The clamp style didnt take long!. I was in the chair for about 2 hours maybe (this is cleaning and placement of the braces, and fitting of the wires!.!.!.!.and he was doing a few patients at the same time)!? They have to clean your teeth first, then stick the clasps on each tooth and cure it with a light so imagine doing that 28 times!.!.!.then they have to fit the wire and bend it so that teeth will start to move where they want them too!. Your teeth might be a little tender (i had headaches sometimes and it was hard to bite with them but chewing wasnt bad!.) You'll probably be ok the day of but the next few days up to a week or two you'll be sore and it will gradually go away!.
P!.S!. try to get the braces without the elastics, appointments are faster and you dont have to choose stupid colours!.!.!.save that for the retainer!. haha!.!.!.i got purple! haha

You probably won't even want to eat, your teeth will be sore and sensitive, idk what fitted trantrack braces are, so i dont know about that part, and everytime you get them tightened they will be sore too and you wont want to eat!.!.!.it sucks! but luckily i am getting mine off nest month!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your getting refitted, that's gonna take about 1/2 hour or so, depending on your dentist!. No eating food might be hard cause your teeth are gonna hurt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
